Within the mature grounds of a house dating from the twelfth century, we developed new gardens in collaboration with its owner.
A sequence of garden rooms draw on both English and French garden traditions. The naturalistic style of the Bank contrasts with the formal border planting in the Aromatic Border and the Rose Garden. Recent additions have included a cascade, a garden to replace a tennis court, formal potager and cutting garden. A green room by the car park has water tricks to surprise curious visitors.
