This garden is set in the grounds of an old water mill deep in a Cotswold valley. The clients asked for a lushly planted garden that would reflect their interest in gardening and the surrounding landscape.
Much of the site is composed of mill ponds that feed the mill. Here the original character of the site was left intact. However, below the ponds around the house, the planting scheme was developed in a naturalistic style with a backbone of shrubs and a wide range of perennials.
