Blakeney Down House
The site is set atop an esker overlooking the salt marshes of Blakeney Point & the North Sea. Site planning constraints included its location within an AONB, Scheduled Monument listing for Bronze Age barrows and SSSI protection for the Esker. Knapped flints were used in the gabion baskets and for decorative panels on the garden folly. The planting is maritime in theme but low in maintenance as befits a holiday home.
